SOS Communications produces installations as well as designing and
manufacturing specialized audio and control equipment for both Government
bodies and the private sector. Current clients include the Australian
Defence Forces, News Corporation, Cairns Port Authority, Rail Corp, Qantas,
Sydney’s Convention & Exhibition Centre, Westfield Shopping Centres and many
more.
This growth has seen the company now, with an engineering and service
facility, accredited by most major manufacturers; including our own design
engineers, programmers, project management and installation staff.
SOS Communications have a large investment, commitment and knowledge, in an
industry recognized for rapid changes in technology. We maintain our
operation at the forefront of this technology. SOS Communications commenced
operation in 1977 and dealt mainly in the hire and sale of audio equipment
for production, theatre, broadcast we have also developed sales department
to assist our clients further.
SOS Communications is respected for both maintaining a wide variety of
equipment together with trained operators and a unique ability to solve
problems. Over 30 years has seen SOS Communications broadened its operations
producing major installations around Australia, as well as overseas; and now
maintains operations in both Melbourne and Cairns as well as Sydney.
SOS Communications offers independent advise as to equipment best suited to
an application, rather than promoting particular brands or types of
equipment. SOS Communications has a firm commitment to the future of
